Hey there people of today and robots of tomorrow!
It's me, CK!
For the new Weekly Adventure I asked you guys to make a sketch sheet like the ones I've been doing with the same limits I've been applying to mine. Only original characters or characters you and a friend have made, up to or more than 10 sketches, the whole big ball of wax. I'm surprised so many people say it sound easy. But then again, some things for others are easier said than done. As for me, doing a Sketch BOOM is second nature. I sketch, doodle, and scribble all the time. This time I managed to do it enough to include 30 characters into this collage of characters and creatures. Which is actually breaking my record. Yes! Perfect for a Weekly Adventure, and my lucky number #8. So, without further delay let me tell you about the stuff I've drawn.
The first sketch I wanna point out is Red in Minecraft. I drew that because recently Red saw World War Z and he's afraid of it. It might even give him nightmares. So I decided to draw Red killing a zombie in Minecraft. But since my limit was original characters I had to create a zombie myself. That zombie's name is Olaf and I hope to use him for more pics. He's the depressed zombie who has the worst luck ever! Then there's a new monster Mr-Herp-Derp created called Banana Monster, a rival to Spinach. A tough nut to crack character design wise, so I just gave him a banana shaped nose and a peel like collar. When he grows up the collar turns into a mustache. Two more monsters make an appearance as Villa and Pizza Monster show up in the pirate persona's. BTS Fact: Originally I was thinking of making Villa say, "So tell me captain: is that your sword or are you just happy to see me?"
Then there's the request I got from chana00 who asked for Anti-Hero in a maid's costume. The idea sounded funny and sexy so I agreed. And as it turns out, it was. I found a pic of a Swedish (or Swiss) maid outfit and used it for an inspiration in Candy's outfit. She loves to make Freak's nose bleed. Then we have more Queen Terra, this time with her trusted ally and Hydrahk's pet/sidekick. Hydrahk is also seen with Zarthek and General K'Sav as the COD surrounded me dressed as Zarthek. Anyone recognize where that pic is from? Well, while you try and guess, SIM-N and I are going to debate who runs the Aperture test next. BTW, for those of you still guessing on the OC meme SIM-N is not mine.
More robots include Zorah, the daughter of Monova, in the year 4040 hanging out with Joey and SHER-I teaching SHORT-E what it's like to fly. For those of you who remember with the last sketch sheet, SHORT-E asked what it's like to fly and SHER-I asked what it was like to walk. I like to think of that as poking fun at something. What that something is I have no idea. Speaking of poking, Phil now knows not to poke his tongue into an electrical outlet. Ouch. Next to Phil there's a character davidfoxfire is designing for me, my own OC for the Scarlet Foxfire world; a cowboy reptile. Lastly, there's Villa's dog Sundae and Crocie and Bumper finally seem to be catching the mysterious visitor in their swamp. I'm still trying to convince a friend to draw the visitor. And one of my favorite sketches is my sweet revenge on J.B. Mouse and Lilian for all the cake related pranks pulled upon me during rehearsals for the Brave Little Tailor II.
